Choirs in the Castle

The Choirs in the Castle outdoor show was a massive success again this year! Organised by the fantastic team in Coity, Kevin Davies, David Shaw, Alun Clemett and Doug McCarthy. This year’s event received 21 sponsors from local businesses headed by Watts & Morgan. The event was well attended by over 200 guests and most importantly stayed dry for the duration of the concert!   This year ended in a fantastic result! The event raised a total amount of £2,500. Donations such as these are vital to Y Bont, without which the charity wouldn’t survive.   On behalf of Y Bont and the event organisers they would like to thank all of choristers who gave up their time free of charge, the volunteers who helped to support the concert and all the guests who attended.

Success! Y Bont wins free advertising space from Edwards Coaches.

We are delighted to announce that we were successful in winning free advertising space on an Edwards Coach, along with 9 other local charities in South Wales! We are looking forward to seeing our name on the back end of  a globe trotting coach. Thank you to everyone who supported us in the competition by liking, voting and commenting on the Edwards Coach Facebook post.

Make a Difference

Y Bont is a small, Independent Charity and as such we rely heavily on the support of people, groups and businesses to keep our head above water and to continue to improve our unique services.

Each year we face the challenge of raising over £300,000 the majority of which has to be raised by sponsors, via donations.

Gifts in Wills and other fundraising activities.
The help recieved from our wonderful supporters will hopefully enable us to survive.
