Y Bont is the only specialist Early years and out of school setting for children with complex needs, additional needs or disabilities in Wales. We operate as a day nursery allowing children with these complex needs to access social interaction, learning and development opportunities and education as their mainstream peers do. We cater for their individual needs and as a charity we fundraise to support children under statutory school age with their needs in our setting.

At Y Bont, Inclusivity is exactly what we are about – we support children with disabilities to achieve their true potential and a massive part of that is supporting the families through the early years of emerging needs, diagnosis, ever changing medical plans and procedures, pathways to education and just being there for them when times are tough and to help them navigate the journey to a diagnosis for their child. Whether your child is bottle or tube fed, has a physical disability or emerging needs, has a Tracheostomy or epilepsy we can support you. Children who attend Y Bont have conditions such as SMA Type 1, Dravet syndrome, Williams syndrome, Angelman syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy and rare genetic disorders to name a few.
